Address Book Server and Client

To un-install the server you can use the script in the Uninstall folder of the Disk Image. To remove the client components delete the files listed below.

Server

The server is installed in /usr/share as it is a back ground service and only has a web interface.

/usr/share/addressBookServerEnterpriseEdition/
/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.addressBookServer.enterprise.plist

The matching receipts for the server package and be found

/Library/Receipts/Address Book Server Enterprise Edition.pkg

To un-install move these files and folders to the Trash

Client

Before uninstalling the client ensure you have disabled / de-registered the client in System Preferences.

The client consist of 3 components

• Framework13
• Command line tools
• System Preferences Panel

which can be found in the following directories, respectively :

/Library/Frameworks/Framework13.framework
/Library/Application Support/AddressBookClient
/Library/PreferencePanes/Address Book Client.prefPane

The matching receipts can be found in :

/Library/Receipts/framework13.pkg
/Library/Receipts/addressbookclienttools.pkg
/Library/Receipts/addressBookClient.pkg

To un-install move these files and folders to the Trash

Additional steps for 10.6

The following steps can be used on Mac OS X 10.6 - Snow Leopard.

After removing the installation you can use the following commands to remove any remaining trace of the client components

sudo pkgutil --forget com.addressbook.client.addressBookClient.AddressBookClient.pkg
sudo pkgutil --forget com.addressbook.client.addressBookClient.AddressBookClientTools.pkg
sudo pkgutil --forget com.addressbook.client.addressBookClient.Framework13.pkg

as well as the server

sudo pkgutil --forget com.addressbookserver.addressBookServer.Package.pkg

Also delete any remaining files from /private/var/db/
